What are the different types of perfume?
Perfume is composed of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts diluted in water or alcohol. The amount of oil extract determines the level or “strength” of the perfume and diretly affects the lasting power of the scent. Below are the different fragrance levels:
Eau de Cologne – least concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 1 hour)
Eau de Toilette – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 2 hours)
Eau de Parfum – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 3-4 hours)
Perfume or Parfum Classic – highly concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 5-6 hours) |
